The Korupensamines have been isolated from a sample of Ancistrocladus korupensis D. W. Thomas & Gereau (Ancistrocladaceae), a newly described species of liana originally collected in the region of Korup National Park in Cameroon in 1987 (Thomas 6889).

Activity

The korupensamines have exhibited anti-malarial activity.
